First Post! Gettin’ Stitchy With It!

Happy New Year and Happy New Blog!

A lot of my posts will be WIP (work in progress) updates; posts about pieces I am currently working on and my current progress on them.

Today has been a cross-stitch only day. I have mainly worked on my Heaven and Earth Design (HAED) stitch. I put in about 250 stitches in today which is good for me. I’d love it if I could have 2,500 stitches completed by next Tuesday; that would mean I would have a whole 7-8k stitch page finished! I have got 2 and three-quarters done so far, just another 39 and a quarter until the whole thing is finished.

Next week I will reveal what the image I am stitching is 🙂

I have also been working on a still challenging but far smaller and quicker piece, and I put in 25 stitches on that today. I started it in April last year and have done about a third of it so far. Aiming to get it done by April this year, so I’ve decided to try and do 25 stitches (a needle’s worth of 14 count thread) on it a day on it.

I will reveal the image for that one next week! In the meantime, here is a sneaky peek of my HAED WIP (work in progress).
